My intent is to cut an ellipse from the wall of an old bucket so that I can have a piece of wood or PVC inserted at an oblique angle. I am making a small furnace for melting aluminum and I am going to pour refractory cement into the bucket around the mold core that I will remove after the cement sets.

I have lofted the shape of the bucket and created the offset circle and used Extruded-cut to create the ellipse through the skin of the bucket. Now I want to print that and tape it to the side of the bucket so that I can accurately cut the hole. Are there any tricks you all might have that would make that a bit easier than creating a drawing from part?

Thanks in advance

Jonathan
