Working on a large layout where numerous parts are brought together to build a concept unit. After a time, the collection of parts needs to be divided up into respectful sub-assemblies. So, I select a cluster of "adjacent" items in the feature tree & build (form) the subassembly.

Now here's the kicker. The selection of feature tree items "inverted" within the subassembly. All the major items are now at the bottom of the tree while all the fasteners are at the top. I guess it's no big deal but who would ever start an assembly by putting in a handful of capscrews first, then the parts they hold together?

I try to keep my assemblies in a "practical sense" order (not the cart before the horse theory) so now I need to shuffle "everything" in the tree to get it back to a presentation I'm proud to send along.

Any way to invert the feature tree components, other than dragging each one in succession? We are still using 2006 (boooooooooo).

See ya.
