Memory Error followed by Invalid argument?

Hi all, I'm pretty much lost with this one. When I try to save a 2D drawing in SolidWorks 2008 sp2.1 as a .dwg or a .dxf I run into a "Solidworks is unable to obtain required memory" error. I hit retry and then Solidworks crashes and I receive an error which looks like : "'15 boxes' ('26 boxes':142) An invalid argument was encountered." This is for a simple box extrude, with two holes, not a complex part. I've tried saving other models as .dwg or .dxf with same results.

Task manager shows plenty of memory left as I have 2 gigs RAM and 4 virtual. The strange part is this started happening recently, I haven't had a problem with this before. Any help will be appreciated. Pictures of the error messages below.
