I am now going on my second week with SW, recently switching over from Pro-E.
I have received a model of a machine (large assembly) from a customer in which I will need to do major modifications. The problem I'm having is that the model has virtually no fully constrained parts. When I look at the mates listed for each part, it is impossible to tell which mates mate the part into place and which mates are mating other parts to it. Any sugestions?

Also, in Pro-E the parent child command would show which parts/features (ie: datums, axis...) where parents and which parts were children. This allowed re-arranging of the mates so that no constraints would be broken while removing/rearanging parts.

Any help suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
