Weight in BOM for metric assembly with some english parts

I have a column in my BOM for Weight. The equation for the column is 'QTY'*'Weight'. I have a metric assembly and add inch parts to it. I make a drawing of the assembly and when I add my BOM the inch parts show up as pounds. Is there an IF function I could add to my equation that could determine which part are in pounds at the part level and divide the weight by 2.2 to list them as kg?
