How to License scenario

We are using SW2008 SP3.0.

We have four seats of SW in our office and the licenses are served via SNL.

We took on a new contract that will require a fifth seat. Without going into details, the customer is a government agency. They had a stand alone copy of SW2008 that they insisted on supplying instead of us purchasing an additional seat.

I currently have SW installed on my machine and it gets its license from SNL. The stand alone version needs to go on my machine. Your suggestions on the best approach are appreciated.

In a best scenario, I would like to make my already installed version think it is stand alone and enter the stand alone license key. The next best might be to dual install the two copies of SW - if this can even be done. Not sure SW would allow that. The thing I really want to avoid is uninstalling my current software and then re-installing stand alone.

Thanks in advance.
