I am a CAM programmer who uses SolidWorks as part of the
SolidCAM bundle - this means that my SolidWorks is plain vanilla,
not Pro or Premium.
I have been developing a means of automating my production documentation and hit on the bright idea that I could use an Excel based BOM as the basis of my fixturing set-up sheets. However, when I make a drawing of my fixture assembly the Excel based BOM option is greyed out. Is this because I am using SolidWorks "basic" or is it something I should have specified when I installed the software?
Many thanks
