mesher ignores some bodies

Has anybody ever seen this one? This has happened to me on numerous occassions. I mesh an assembly or multibody part, and things seem fine. No error messages, mesh failure diagnostics reports that the model meshed successfully. However, upon meshing, sometimes bodies disappear. If I hide the mesh, they're still there. If I run the simulation, the missing bodies are not considered. If there are any forces or constraints on those bodies, the solver fails with error messages stating that target entities for those forces or constraints are not defined.

Adding mesh controls to the wacky bodies does not seem to make a difference.

In my latest assembly, I have 2 missing bodies. The funny thing is, there are multiple instances of each of them in the model and those have been meshed just fine. Most bodies get meshed, some disappear, and as far as I can tell there is no rhyme or reason to it.

Any ideas?
