We recently upgraded our server from WS 2000 to WS 2003 and
moved the Vault over. Our process was to stop the PDM service, copy
the Vault Data folder then reinstall PDM on the new server and
point it to the folder. Everything is working until we go to check
the files in.
Every file that I go to check-in shows up red now. Even if I check a part in then decide to edit it and check it back in 5 minutes later...it's red. I'm sure that it has something to do with the new server but I have no idea where to tell our IT company to even look at. Any ideas?

Also, more importantly. Log into your Vault Admin and select the "Validate Vault" box, and select either on next startup or every startup. If this is not selected you are simply stopping and starting the service. If you have a large Vault, I would recommend just the Next startup.
