When we went live with 2007 I applied the hot fix and all was good. We were running Windows 2003 Server Standard addition. We then upgraded to Windows 2003 Server R2 Standard addition and then applied the recommended Microsoft updates. Now when I apply the hot fix PDMWorks most of the PDMWorks options in the vault admin do not load properly and the project folders do not load up in the clients. If I remove the hot fix the vault service will properly load but we are back to having vault performance going down the drain. I am working with my VAR but so far I have no answers. Has anyone else experienced this problem??

Yes - Microsoft did not include this in the shipped version.
You will know that you need it if the system is really slow to login, etc.

Is the workaround for Microsoft Hot Fix 831168 still required for PdmWorks 2006 Sp4.2 and 2007 SP1? See the Apr 26, 2005 bulletin on the following page for additional information.

Will you be validating it before SolidWorks World this year. I am going to be a presenter this year. My focus will center around PDMWorks and the Windows Server 2003 R2 will be a big part of it.

I sent the issue to the support and QA teams - It's my understanding that you are working with the support team. This version has not been validated by QA to my knowledge. It may require a new hotfix from Microsoft.
I'll let you handle this via support.

Here you go. I currently am thinking the problem is do to a windows update. I will let you know if I tack it down.
