Export points from solidworks into IGes?

Can we export the 3D points (created by solidworks) into any other universal files, like iges, step, parasolid???

Yes. Do a Save As. In the Save As dialog box, choose IGES for the type of file. From the Save As dialog box, also click on the Options button and make sure the Export Sketch Entities check box is checked.

Retrieving data ...
I am setting up a truss static analysis, but I get an error when I try to Apply Material to the Study. It says "The parameter is incorrect" and the material window is blank. Any ideas?
