Will E-Drawings 2008 work with PDMWorks 2006

I am having a problem triing, in PDMWorks, to view a 2D .sldrw document. It will give me a preview, but when I click on the view tab it locks up Solidworks and I have to close out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
