I have been trying to generate automatic BOM's with Volumes for already created assemblies. The only way I have been able to achieve this is by opening each individual PART file, going to 'file properties' and enabling the volume- only then will it (the volume property) appear in my drawing notes, or BOM.
I have come across some macros that process similar actions and will even export the results to an excel file, however, I have been unable to find anything for VOLUME. I suspect this may be due to its being a custom property.
Can anyone advise me on how to automatically generate Volume data for Parts in an Assembly.
