Has anyone successfully modeled an Anemometer?
No matter what I try the values that I get on my model don't make sense. I set the RPM at lets say 100 and run a series of wind speeds from 0 to 10 mph knowing from actual tests that it should spin at 100 rpm around 6 miles per hour. I would expect that the torque values would change from positive to negative when wind pass 6 mph. What I get instead is an accelerated climb. I have run out of ideas. Any suggestions?
