Ok, so I was reading through the SP3 release notes and under
the SP1 section it says:
Two new tutorials, DriveWorksXpress and Routing - Pipes and Tubes, are available from SolidWorks Tutorials. The new tutorials have not been localized yet. The English version is available for all languages.
On Wednesday I upgraded from 2007 to 2008SP0, then immediately did SP2.1, then this morning I did the SP3 upgrade.
I can't find the tutorials - are they hidden somewhere??
Thanks.
Todd B.

What is the title on yours? Routing?? Is it alphabetical in the list?
I hope I'm not blind, but I just don't see the thing...
Only I found was this:

Strange that there's none in the SW pages. Assume that they'll get it in place some day.

The problem is that updated help files are not included when you download service packs. (This was done to help reduce the download time for service packs.) To get the updated help (including updated and new tutorial files) here's what you need to do:
1. Go to the download page on solidworks.com
2. Under SolidWorks Software, select the SolidWorks version you installed (in your case, SP3.0).
3. Accept the license agreement.
4. Select "If you experience a download problem, click here".
5. In Upgrading from Service Pack, select the version you upgraded from (in your case, SP2.1).
6. Click Continue.
7. Under Step 3 - Required Updates, click SolidWorks Help.
8. If any dialog boxes appear, click Run to run swHelpEnglish.exe. (Due to my security settings, I had to click Run in two or three different dialog boxes.)
9. In the WinZip Self-Extractor dialog box, leave all the default settings, and click Unzip.
The updated help files are placed in C:\SWDist\swHelpEnglish\Files\lang\english and are automatically copied into your SolidWorks installation. Now you should be able to see the Routing - Pipes and Tubes tutorial on the tutorial page.
Hope this helps.
Also, after you complete the tutorial, if you have any comments or suggestions about it please post them here. I'd really like to get some user input on it.
Thanks,
Joan
Thanks! I'll try this now and post up shortly (assuming I don't crash my computer).
Thanks very much for your help on this.
Why have you not set-up your own user account to the SW Customer Portal and the forum? You do not need to use the old user account.
Cheers,
I'll get to the tutorial some day...
