We have some parts that have many configurations. For some
reason lately, since the install of SW 2008, that these parts are
changing everytime they are opened. This poses a serious problem
here as we have the parts lasered from our SolidWorks models.
Thankfully, I learned a long time ago to back up all the SW
drawings as .DWGs to break that link and have a 'static' drawing.
However, this brings in a bigger problem, if these models are not
changed by a user, how are they getting changed?
We are running SW 2008, Service Pack 2.2. MS Windows XP Pro, and unfortunately still have MS Office 2000. These configurations are not mse with design tables and have been in use for years. We do not use PDM works, but have a mulit-user environment here where we open the files thru the network, which has been compromised 3 times in the last 4 months with a virus infection and I am unsure if any of these issues would have caused this issue.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
