I need a good quality wireframe image, probably from Photoworks rendering. It needs to be 600 dpi or above, saved as a tiff, no background (will be placed on a print with other text), and needs to be able to have thick lines.
Any ideas? the usual way of print screen is not good enough for this project.
THanks, Cathy
Thanks !!
By turning down the settings for ray trace rendering I mean:
1.Shut off all the lights (be sure to shut the lights off in the render manager lighting folder).
2.Scene Settings:
a.Turn off the visibility and reflectivity of all the walls in the scene editor (unless you want the edges of the walls visible in the rendering).
b.Set the background and environment to none in the scene editor.
c. Go to the lighting tab in the scene editor and set the shadows to be "No Shadow".
3.PhotoWorks Options Settings:
a.Document Properties Tab:
i.Set the number of reflections and refractions to zero.
b.Illumination Tab:
i.Disable Indirect Illumination
ii.Disable Caustics
iii.Disable Global Illumination.
4.You could also delete all your appearances but that might be a bit extreme.
One thing to note is that you will want to keep the anti-aliasing quality to the desired level. Again, contour rendering uses the edges from the ray trace rendering to calculate contour rendering.
By turning down the settings used for ray trace rendering, the first pass full rendering will be very quick and it will jump right to the contour rendering. Note turning down the settings only applies to rendering with contours only, if you are rendering the model then you need these settings to be turned up to achieve the desired rendering quality.
