Please help! I've spent the last 2 days trying to create a
flat on the under side of a bend and it's beginning to get dark
outside again. I've attached the part I've been messing about with
and the tool I've created, positioned where I want it. Can someone
please tell me where I'm going wrong?

Correct Answer
I've found an answer to my own question. It's more of a fix
than optimal solution but gives the result I was looking for.
Rather than use a forming tool I extruded the shape I needed onto
the surface of the bend and then removed material on the other side
to give the locating flat.
