Trouble autoupdating from images?  Stop using Quicklaunch.

I had one pesky machine that was not autoupdating from the One-Step Installer network images. There seems to be something funky about the quicklaunch icon for SolidWorks that doesn't seem to trigger autoupdating. Starting SW via Start/Programs or via the icon that it makes and puts on the desktop triggered autoupdating but starting via quicklunch wouldn't.

When considering that most power users wouldn't dream of clicking on 5 things to start a program, this is a bit problematic. If I get confirmation via SPR#, I'll post it here.

This, of course, assumes that the image was created accurately via the current instructions at http://files.solidworks.com/Su...bHelp/Installation.htm under "Multiple Installations/Administration/Product Updates/Updating One-Step Images"
