For sheetmetal parts sometimes we need to make micro-joints
in holes to hold the scrap of the hole on the part during
lasercutting and bending. These scrap is removed during the
assemble of the part
These micro-joints are for example 4 pieces of 0.4 mm width for 1 round hole.
(see picture).
We used to make these micro-joints manually in DWG-editor,
but I wonder if there is a way to do this in SW 3d?
What I need is 4 segment lines (not double lines) for 1 round hole.
I've tried to do this with surfacing, but I can not cut the surfaces from the Solid, because the surface is inside the solid.(see pictures)
Who can give me some advice to do this in 3D?
Thanks for every hint.
Peka.
