I am considering buying a laptop to run Solidworks 2008 and I
was wondering if anyone had advice on configuration.
For the same price I can get either a laptop with:
Core2Duo T7500
4GB DDR2
Quadro FX 1600M 256MB
or a laptop with:
Core2Duo T7700
4GB DDR2
GeForce 8800M GTX 512MB
I may play the odd game but I'm more looking for which system will run Solidworks 2008 best, I understand that the Quadros are more for that kind of task but is the bigger GeForce the best choice or would the Quadro still be the best option? They both have XP SP2 by the way!
