I'm running SW 2016 on a brand new computer, a Dell Precision Tower 5810, with a AMD FirePro W4100 with Windows10. My problem is that SW would freeze up the screens would go blank, and I'd get a message about the graphic drivers crashing, and recovering. After that happened I couldn't get back in to my session of SW without forcing it to shutdown. I got a hold of DASI and went through some things and found out that my GDI object usage was really high, 4,000-7,000, and modified it from 10,000 to 20,000. Even with that done SW is still crashing on me. I've been monitoring the GDI usage of SW, and noticed before the last crash it was at 10,000. Now keep in mind that I usually only have two or three fairly uncomplicated models open at a time with a couple of 2-D drawings, and it'll crash 3-6 times a week.
