If you insert a part into another part that already has geometry in it, SolidWorks disables the ability to break the link to the parent file. Why? Is this intentional or a bug? If it is intentional, what purpose does it serve to eliminate an option?

If you mirror a part, you get the Insert Part propertymgr, but you don't get the ability to use the Locate Part functionality. Again, why is this? What purpose does limiting functionality serve? Is it just that somebody thought we wouldn't need that functionality and did us the favor of removing it for us?

If you mirror a part and break the link, the last feature in the tree is a Move/Copy Bodies feature with no editable options except the body list. I wasn't aware that Move/Copy could also mirror. In fact, if you use the out-of-the-box Move/Copy, it can't mirror, only translate and rotate. Where does SW magically get functionality that is denied to users? If you use a regular mirror bodies, you have to delete the original body.

Why are these two functions so constrained? I appreciate the additional functionality, but it has been added in a way that looks like functionality that exists in other places is being withheld.
