I have one question. The real world situation:
There is a small assembly for welding (couple of tubings and plates).
Before releasing the assembly drawing with BOM in production, the lenght of one tubing has been changed and saved under the same part number (last minute change ... maybe sounds familiar to you).
Unfortunatelly, stock size dimension has not been updated (manualy) in part properties and the guy on cutting cut the shorter piece according to assembly drawing BOM?
Is is possible in SolidWorks 2007 to have auto update part stock size
if you change dimension of the part? Can this new part stock size can be visible in assembly BOM instantly?. Or there is only manual way to do it ...
Thanks.
