Excel BOM not allowed

I can't insert an Excel BOM into assembly drawings for some reason. I am on SW2007 SP4 and have 2002 version of Excel. I was able to before we upgraded to 2007. Is there a setting or something I'm missing? Short term I can live with the SW bom table but would like the Excel soon so I can export the information to our mrp software.

Kelvin is the winner. With the view selected, Excel Based BOM is now available. Thanks to both of you.

Dave, you can export the Table BOM as well. Right Click it and select "Save as".

Do you have a SW BOM (non-Excel) on another sheet in the drawing? If so you cannot have both SW and Excel types in one drawing.

You need to have a view selected before trying to insert the Excel BOM?
