I want to know if this is possible on the SWE schematic.
Has anybody done anything like this ?
Without going to extreme measures, you can do this:
It doesn't say the cable name in the middle, and is a little clunky to get the definition of origins and destinations correct, but it works. You just draw it exactly like you have done in your drawing, select the four wires on either side of the cable, right click and go to wire cabling order. There you check and see what the software things is connected to what, and re-define it. This is how 2015 works. In newer versions, I believe it is slightly different, but I haven't tested yet.
The more extreme versions I have also played with involve inserting single line diagram cables, and lots of wipe-out frames.
Daniel, I've tried what you suggested in 2016 and cant seem to get it to work with the cable order.
If you've got some patience, you can post some step by step screenshots and I can try to see where it's hanging up, or try to attach a video. Your VAR may be able to do a go-to meeting with you to see exactly what is going on. Or maybe you found a bug, and it doesn't work anymore.
after some playing I was able to get the cable order working
So you finally solved the issue?
Using Daniel's suggestion above I was able to get it work work yes. Is it an easy way not really if you have a large number of points to connect but that is how the software works.
