Hello, this is Lee.
I'm leaning how to make mould file but there's is a problem.
All the processes to make it on youtube or somewhere esle, are just a mould for press production.(seems like it is)
So the part which have many curves like "
" file I attached, I don't even imagine how to make a cavity from it.
I'm trying to make a mould by 3D printer for injecting by silicon rubber.
Please let me know the solution.
With my best regards.
..I'll put my 2 yen on this.... or, 2 versions which show how I'd do it as a simple split and a normal way if it was not symmetrical...
.., never been a fan of doing it the solidworks way... does not work well, imho,... and for this simple core,.. it does not seem to want to auto-join the core/cavity off the parting/split? most likely the undercut surfaces or the way the edge tolerances do not help with a clean split/join??
