(SW-2016). Is there a toggle setting to automatically default to a sketch's normal view (the plane I originally constructed it on) when editing the sketch regardless of what view perspective I was looking at the part previously?

Thank you Deepak. yes, I saw that 'on sketch creation' option too. Which made me assume (hope?) there would be something similar upon editing an existing sketch.
Can you guide me through how to vote please? I tried typing that SPR# and it didn't seem to connecting to this particular issue. Or maybe there is a separate sub-forum section for this activity? Sounds like something I should know how to do in the future.
Go to SOLIDWORKS KB (login required) and then search for the SPR number. Once you found and open it, there is option to vote on left side.
Check this post for some details on voting correct way(s) to "Vote" for SPR - SW confirm?
Also I think a macro can be made which can set the view normal to when editing a sketch. Let me try if I can get it to work.
This is a current limitation. Please vote for SPR #:621737.
To add, with this setting you get normal to view during initial sketch creation only.
