This turned into a two part question:

So I have both SW15 and SW16 on my computer.

I opened a drawing in SW16, edited a feature in the part file, and saved it... which converted it to SW16.

Then I realized it had multiple configurations and other drawings attached to it. Ugh.

So now when I open the other drawings in SW15... it cannot read the part file as it is a future version. Darn.

Is there a way to convert a SW16 file back to SW15?

I tried to find the Autorecover, but since I saved the file it was deleted from my temp folder.... or never created because I had two versions of SW running!

Does the journal file create the Backup files too??

I checked my backup folder and nothing I opened today has saved a backup copy.

Am I not supposed to run multiple versions of SW at the same time?
