Move face command?
I am trying to remove that highlighted part in blue. Not sure if there is a way. Basically that black face has a closed sketch. But not sure how I can guide it to just remove it.

Easy-peasy. Use the move face command. Post the file and I will do it for you.
Here it is...How do you use the move face command?
The best way to remove that is to not create it in the first place. Edit the Extrude and change it's end condition to "Up to Surface".
Like this. Keep this in mind for the future.
For this example, Glenn's solution is the best. Why do unnecessary cleanup?

Welcome to the forum. Maybe I'm just slower than usual today, but I'm afraid I don't understand what you're trying to do. I don't see an "outline of the face on the far right". Can you post the Part model, maybe with a little more explanation of what you're trying to do? (Click on the text "Use advanced editor" at top right of the Reply box, then there will be a link at lower right to attach files.)
