Hey all! I'm trying to design a coax cable and I need to have a spiral in it but can't figure out how to mate the Sweep to the Helix so it projects correctly. See attached model. I
Did you want something like this? I deleted everything in your model except for the helix and the profile sketch for your first sweep. Then I started a new 3d sketch and used the Convert Entities function to convert the Helix to sketch entities, and added new sketch lines and arcs, making sure that the line attaching to the helix was tangent to the end of it. Then created a new Sweep, using your profile sketch and my 3d sketch.

Took me a minute or two, but doing what you said, step by step gets me my results. Thanks.
Got to remember to not get bogged down at one "step". I had tried to do the 3D sketch inside the helix sketch and could not get relations I needed. You can usually convert entities to another sketch and get the relations you want.
