Is there a quick simple way to find out a rough estimated cost of a part based on any of the density, mass, volume and surface area? I have a part I need AL casting but they can't give me a quote on the price due to lack of casting drawing. I do have another part with the cost to make it. I want to use the price of this part to calculate the price of the new part based on its mass properties. Is there a formula I can use to calculate the cost of the new part based on the cost of the old part I have the price for?
