When I right click on a folder I get an option called "Update values in files ..." located at the bottom of the drop down, below properties. This is what allows you to update files with any variable updates in the folder card. I thought that everyone had that option but apparently not. Where would I find the permission to allow others to have this ability? I tried searching the admin guide but that didn't work.
Hi Stephen, I don't think it's a permission, but rather a menu setting.
If you go into the PDM Administration Tool, right click on Users, Settings, Menus:
Find the Update command from the list on the left-hand side, and add it to the Folder right-click menu.
This should then appear for users when they right click on a folder. You can do this for a group as well.
