The background; I made several macros in SW versions 2016, 2015, and 2013 and saved them to SWP files. Between then and now I saved it to google MyDrive, downloaded it as a .zip package, and when I try to open it in SW2016 every macro is just garbage. What happened, and how can I keep this from happening again? Posting a copy of the garbage for reference. It is almost the same no matter what I load, except for the text in orange.

Some observations

-When I first try to import a .swp file for editing, I get a notice that says "SWMacro file XXXXXX.swp.doc will be converted to VBA macro file XXXXXX.swp.swp" And a second notice "Could not open macro file. XXXXXXXX.swp.doc

-Even corrupted the same number of models is loaded into the editor as the macro originally had.
