You can use the helix to create the spring and then modify that directly or can use design table (using power of excel to control the values). You may add configurations as desired.
I can't remember where I got this but it's great, can make any type of spring, all you do is start a sketch with a circle as the O.D. and run the macro.

What you could do is run the macro and save your part, close and then open it and add a design table then add your own configurations..
I tried the save/open option without success. I doesn't give me anything more then the edit feature option.
Can anyone tell me what green arrow next to the feature icon mean?
The green icon is called macro feature.
