Is anyone else having this issue?
We cannot create a 3D PDF anymore
I was able to reproduce the crash when using Windows 10. Small parts work fine, but your top assemblies does not.
works fine for me, no problems at all. maybe you're missing some software? (adobe reader - don't know)
Very small files work
Anything big with OEM data does not go anymore
Found a couple test files that work on SP2 but not SP3
It is working here, do you have the latest Adobe Reader? Are you doing a save as and checking the options, don't think there is anything there to change, but...
After you save as a 3D PDF, and you open the file, you may need to enable editing.
As soon as we try to Save it it crashes
Works fine for me on 2016 SP 3.0.
Can you try the attached macro. Make sure you save the file before running it.
Deepak, it didn't work
James, I did not have any problem to produce a 3DPDF using your top level assembly. I even used the MBD PDF processor.
So works well in Windows 7.
We will continue to troubleshoot your problem.
Once again thanks for all the efforts
We are lucky to have a great VAR
But, this is a huge issue for us, most of our designs are rather large & we need to make pdfs for almost half of our customers
This is not going to go over well, Hopefully SWX considers this a critical issue & puts out a hotfix
My guys are looking into GDI's - something about a 10,000 max and SWX crashes
Over my head, but something to throw out there
I agree with the need for a hotfix. I am wondering if you could consider rolling back to SP2 on one machine and use it as a 3DPDF generator.
Alternatively, if you have an Windows 7 machine, you can use it for the same purpose. Give all users access to it via remote desktop and you can survive until the hotfix is generated and implemented.
We have stations with SP2, same issue: crashes
We are all on Windows 10, maybe that was a mistake
I can confirm that Windows 7 works with the same data set that we have the issues on with Windows 10
Great! At least you have a temporary solution.
Thanks for confirming that.
