I can't checkin or checkout files in the PDM vault after upgrading from sw16 sp2 to sp3. Does anyone have any ideas what happened? Thanks, Mitch
Mitch, did you upgrade your PDM Server to SP3 as well? Your server should be at or above the SP of your clients. Section 8 of the install guide shows all the steps for both server and client. Let me know because we are having trouble after upgrading both the PDM server and clients to sp3.
Hi, do you have any specific error messages? Does this happen for you only, or for other users as well?
Did you do all these Upgrade steps?
1) Upgrade SolidNetwork License Manager 2) Upgrade Server components (database server, archive server, and client on the server if you put it there) 3) Upgrade the vault(s) 4) Upgrade the client machines
When I upgraded to SP3, I missed doing #3. For that I had to use the Upgrade exec. It is found under the swpdmswerver folder in the installation media you download.
