I have set up puzzle pieces and I am hoping that someone can help me put it all together to create a simplified user experience.
1. We have set up ePDM web with configurations and web shares, etc.
2. We have searches created and can create shortcuts that will take the user directly to the specific searches.
Now I would like to put it together. I would like to set up a URL that will take the user directly to the search via web access and the results display via the web interface. Am I asking too much?
I understand a user can get to the searches through the web, but it is a bit clunky and the pulldown shows all possible searches the user has access to. All of this technically works but I would like to have a link directly to the search so that there is no training material required to use the system. It just works.
