Non linear Plastic Clipping simulation & force closure for a lid

I am modelling clipping features for buckets, I am hoping to get accurate model for simulating closure and opening force required on some plastic containers.

I modeled a few with good behaviour however the reaction force are far from correct well below physical part.

I add the value of friction for PP on PP. (Dynamic coefficient. is 0.44) but the system crash and his looking for buckling or large deformation grow large under constant load etc...

I am also experience bad behaviour with part penetration even if I set model with no penetration.


How to set contact,  advance configuration in solver, best study, non linear, linear, dynamic, static etc...
