i am making a study about propeller at the moment. Therefor i am using Solidworks Flow Simulation. I actually got some good results for low RPMs. But when i am increasing the RPM the solver give me a warning: "Maximum Mach Number exceeded". On some researches i figured out that die maximum mach number for rotating areas is mach 3. The propeller isn't able to reach supersonic velocitys, but during the solving-process the solver advances the mach number >3. And once the solver advance it, he isn`t able to converge and find a solution. Instead he gives me results which are a million times from the desired results.
