Fasteners visibility in configurations

Hello SW users

I am using SW 2012, and I am having problems with the pattern feature in assembly files when there are multiple configurations involved. The patterned fasteners / parts would hide themselves when switching from config A to config B. This only happens when the amount of pattern change from one to other, and the "hidden" ones were not suppressed as well.

For example:

If config A has 8 M10 screw, and config B has 12 M10 screw, it will only show 8 M10 screw when switching from A to B. It will still show the proper amount of screws in the BOM, but it will not show in the model / drawing. I tried design table and configure feature, and the problem exists in both feature. Although it show the correct amount of screw in the BOM, this become a problem when i am putting the assembly drawing together.

Anyone been in this situation before? If so, how did you solve it without creating separate pattern for each config?

Thanks,

Eric Lui
