I am having an issue with my Top-level BOM not updating the Configuration name correctly.
I have an assembly that is used as a blank for other parts.
The configuration name changes to the new part number upper/lower, but my BOM will not update properly.
It adds the new configuration name and a slash before the old one. And keeps going.
So ESC 1100 BLK is saved as ESC TEST which is then saved as ESC TEST2 for the above trial.
My BOM keeps all the names... which is not what I desire.
Why would it do this? How can I fix it to update to show only the current configuration name?
Some investigation:
If I use the SW Top-level BOM template I get the Configuration names for all the configurations in my model.
If I try to use Configuration Name instead, I only get the option of the "model in view specified in sheet properties" which only allows selection of one config, Default by default.
I also noticed that the Configuration names SW uses are static, you can erase a single letter, but the linked values I choose are dynamic and you have to erase the whole value.
