How do I import context external non planar (curved) surface bodies into a sldprt

I do a lot of multibody sldprt designs for plastic components. These components often need have features which to register to non planar surfaces which can be picked up a surface in context of an assembly in a specific configuration in which they are developed.  The problem I'm facing is that I need to create those external surfaces as configuration specific surface bodies using the 0 offset technique and when I import them into the multibody sldprt they will be in exactly the same geometric relationship that they had outside of the sldprt and break the link to the external reference.  The import and breaking is required to be able derive multiple stable designs from various mating configurations without external assemblies.


The question Is there a procedural way to do this and so that the imported internal surface body will be exactly in the same relationship as it was externally.
