I was wondering if anyone can help me make the part a shown in the drawing below. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do it. I'm not sure if the drawing is missing some dimensions or am I just missing something. I attached what I did so far but it is mostly a sketch for reference and the back part that I started. Any help is greatly appreciated.

..I tried... although, either I missed something or don't see how they can do what they show per the side view using 5/16R... so, I added a relief.. and/also the 2 11/16.. @17 degs.. so, I moved it out a bit?

I went thru the model and it is close as you said. I need to get it exactly to the print. I feel like the drawing is missing some dimensions but I could be wrong.

If it's a purchased part, ask the supplier for a model. If a school project, I can't make the model for you.
It is a part that I have to have made but my sheet metal vendor needs a solid model. I've been out of school for quite some time now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

well, modeling this is not the problem.. the real problem that I was trying to address was getting it to flatten,..
so, this would need a formed feature in it for the 5/16R corner area, ...
most sheetmetal vendors have software which goes well beyond SolidWorks, so, this data may not be a issue for them?
otherwise, someone could help you the formed feature to get it to flatten?
This part is not a sheet metal brake press formed part. There are drawn metal features. Give your supplier the final formed shape of what you want produced. They will need to work out the flat blank and proper forming processes.
I wouldn't even bother to trying to add the Sheet Metal feature at the bottom of the tree.

I is the large round on the side as you probably know. (Christopher) If that round smaller and extend past the bend on the top, then you could do it as straight SM.

I agree that the part would have to be formed in that area as well. From a quick look at your model it looks perfect. I will go thru it step by step to see how you did it.

The only thing that I see wrong is the 2-11/16" dimension is going to the wrong location on Sketch7 for Boss-Extrude1. According to the drawing it should go to the center of the 1/8" radius but you have it going to the virtual sharp (see pic below).
I tired to correct it but then it throws errors for Boss-Extrude2 and some of the fillets. No matter what I try I cannot get the smooth looking transition from the angle to the straight like you had before. Any idea on how to fix this?

arrggghh... ok, darn, the fillets just won't play well with the existing transtion/overlap..so... you'd have to get more creative... I did a loft/replace face or, a interpolation of what it may do... and in reality, there is material thinning/stretching so this is not far off, imho..
