Hope you all r fine. how can i draw a channel in which depth will be increase along length/path in a 10m extruded body, initial depth is 3m & end depth is 1m.
Is the change in depth linear? You could create a tilted plane and extrude cut up to that plane.
If you know what your two end profiles are going to be then I would have these on two seperate planes which are 10m apart and use a lofted boss to form the body.
Thank u bro.. but i may be not clearly identified my problem .. 10m thick extruded boss plate in which i need to create a channel which depth will increase/decrease. initial depth will be 3m, final depth will be 1m. the depth will be vary with channel length. how can i do this? @ steven
i tried through extruded cut but i could not do the operation as there is no option i find to cut variable depth with along lenght
@ steven, the blue lines in the 10m thick plate is the channel shape which need to be cut with varying depth in the picture i showed in comment. how to do this ? can u help me out of this?
the depth is incline decrement... however i think your solution is correct. can u share the file u draw or mail me to email@example.com
Here you go. I created the inclined plane from two sketched lines so that the depth at each end could be specified.
thank u so much.. i was stucked for weeks for this..bro have a great & prosperous life.
