Hi there! I am having an issue with this. I have placed subassemblies into my final assembly with aim to be able to move the components. However it seems that all components are defined. I have check with the mates, its ok. Also @ the solve as rigid/flexbile check box, its disabled and I am not sure if I need to check it, but the issue is its disabled and i couldnt do anything with that box.

I want to make sure I understand what you are wanting to do. you have a sub-assembly in a top level assembly that you would like to mate and have the sub assembly adjust to suit.
if this is the case make sure that all assemblies that use the part you are trying to mate at the top level are made flexible.
for example if the part was in a sub assembly of a sub assembly then both would have to be made flexible to allow the top level to become flexible.
also there is a quick button for making assemblies flexible as of SW2015 (see below
Yes you are right. Im using 2013 and have issues like this
looking at your image, then you can have that part flexible - it's a part. only way to have it 'moving' is to either model it with reference to other moving components or add configurations with different positions of it.,
