Can config. manager be used to have model with different cavity numbers?
Probably. Can you give more detail? How are the cavities created? If it's using a pattern (linear, circular, etc) then you can show the number of instances in the graphics area (several ways to do that), right click on it, and choose "Configure dimension" from the drop-down.
Thanks for the reply, I have an 8 cavity mold with 8 single cavities which were created by combine/subtracting a part from a solid block and I wanted to know if can use config manager and have 1 cavity with 8 configurations with numbers 1-8 or do need to have 8 separate cavities.Thanks.
I'm numbering the cavities by extrude cutting a number into the cavity.
In that case, you should be able to fill the selected cavities (it's hard to say what feature to use without seeing the model), and suppress or un-suppress the function used to fill them as needed between configurations.
