We have a lab of HP thin clients running Citrix Xendesktop VMs. When users save a solidworks file to a flash drive, it gives an error that it "failed to save the file". I then go to the flash drive, see that the file it there despite the error, and attempt to open it when windows reports I do not have access.
If I save to the desktop it works. I tried copying the file from the desktop to the flash drive, but windows explorer crashes.
I think it has to do with how xendesktop maps the flash drive. It shows in explorer as D drive on %computername% but saving is not an issue in other programs like Word or Internet Explorer. I was wondering if anyone has seen a similar issue?
