SW2016 slowest version ever modify dimensions

Question asked by Richard Wagenaar on Mar 23, 2016

In bigger assemblies (1000+) it takes almost a second to open the modify dimension menu.

Even worse,  closing or escape the edit dimension menu takes another seconds.

Tested on different systems and different videoboards.

This happens in all SP's of SW2016,  on the same computer this is not a problem

in older releases. In parts it is also much slower (>5X) than older releases but not as

bad as in assemblies (>30X).

I do not have the impression that SP3 improved anything and if it does it seems even worse.

Am I the only one with this problem?  I use the fastest computer available at 4.5 Ghz.

It reminds me of using Solidworks 95 on my old Intel 16 bit 286 computer at that time.

Onshape on my Samsung phone is much more responsive with big assemblies.
