I operate SolidWorks 2014 SP 5.0. Our company designs machinery and uses weldment tables for our fabrication prints. These prints often contain both weldment features and sheet metal bodies. We define our sheet metal thicknesses using the drop down gauge tables. When detailing, we have to manually enter the description in the weldment cut list properties as "SHEET, 7 Ga.". Unfortunately, these values often change due to a variety of reasons, and the descriptions are not always updated, resulting in costly rework.

Given that the thickness is defined by the gauge table, is there a way to run a macro that would define the description field of the sheet metal entries in the weldment cut list?
